The Placebo Effect

Seeing the airport half-full and all the masks, Clorox wipes, and gloves coming out, it’s sad to see the effect of fear still living within humanity.

Change the way we think and we can change the outcome. If we believe in a virus we make it stronger. Let’s believe in the placebo effect!

And by the way, wanting to have a different believe is not denial!

I love how everyone now help us clean our planes. I love it when I can hand out sanitizer wipes and see the grateful smiles. I love how people are more aware of cleanliness, it’s far better than filth.

Viruses, parasites, and diseases are alive and well, and still thrive in our environments because of those wanting us to buy the pill. They want us to look for cures within injections and medications rather than focusing on the cause.

I say let’s look at the cause and then see the effect. If the cause is fear, the effect will be more disease, stress, and worry. If the cause is love, the effect will be health, joy and happiness.

Come on humans, we can change this Earth’s usual trajectory of keeping us in fear.

Stay calm, stay safe, continue to travel but do not fear!

We are doing everything we can to keep everything germ free, and with your help, we will overcome this virus, the same way we did just a short few years ago with the Ebola virus.

I am proud to see how everyone I work with, work extra hard to make sure all surfaces are clean and that our passengers are equipped with sanitary wipes, if available, for their own protection.

This might not be enough to stop a virus but if our attitudes towards it change towards the power we give these fear tactics, we will be stronger than a virus.

Whatever I said here, is my personal view and does not reflect in anyway, shape or form, on the airline I work for, although, I am proud of how our airline is doing well above the normal, or usual, to keep us ALL safe and germ free!
